DMCA & Copyright

Our policy
SigmaTools LLC ("Atlas") respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the Service to do the same. We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. 512. This page explains how to send us a takedown notice, how a user can file a counter-notice, and how to reach our registered Designated Agent.
We will remove or disable access to material we determine, in good faith, to be infringing, and we will terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
Designated Agent
DMCA Agent, SigmaTools LLC
2041 Rufe Snow Drive, Suite 101 PMB 1018
Keller, TX 76248
Email: abuse@sigmatools.io
Phone: 817-600-2856
Email is the fastest way to reach our agent. Please send copyright notices to the agent above and not to our general support channels, so we can act on them quickly.
How to file a takedown notice
If you are a copyright owner (or authorized to act for one) and believe material on Atlas infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our Designated Agent that includes all of the following. A notice that omits these elements may not be effective.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (or, if multiple works, a representative list).
- Identification of the infringing material and enough information for us to locate it (for example, the username, the post or share, and a description of the specific image).
- Your contact information: your name and email address (a mailing address and telephone number are helpful but optional). We use the email you provide as the primary way to contact you about your notice.
- A good-faith statement that you believe the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Once we receive a complete notice, we will remove or disable access to the material and take reasonable steps to notify the user who posted it.
How to file a counter-notice
If your material was removed or disabled and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a written counter-notice by email to our Designated Agent at abuse@sigmatools.io that includes all of the following.
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location at which it appeared before it was removed.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your contact information: name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if your address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which Atlas may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice or that person's agent.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the removed material in 10 to 14 business days unless the original complainant notifies us that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the allegedly infringing activity.
Repeat infringers and misuse
We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users we determine to be repeat infringers. We keep a record of the valid takedown notices we act on and attribute them to the account that posted the material, so repeat infringement can be identified and enforced.
Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed or disabled by mistake, may be liable for damages. Do not make false claims.
Submit a takedown notice online
You may file a complete takedown notice using the form below instead of emailing our agent. Submitting it captures your notice as a trackable record and routes it directly to our Designated Agent. The form requires the same statutory elements described above, including the good-faith and accuracy statements and your electronic signature.
