Report an intimate image

You can ask us to remove any of these from Atlas:

• A nude, sexual or other intimate photo or video of you that someone shared without your consent, even if you once shared it with them privately.
• A sexual or nude image of you that was made or edited with AI or other tools, sometimes called a deepfake.

You can ask about an image anywhere on Atlas, such as in a post, a comment, a message or a profile photo.

• Use the form on this page. Anyone can use it, including people without an Atlas account.
• Or email us at abuse@sigmatools.io with the four things listed below.
• In the app, you can also report the post, comment or profile and choose "Intimate image shared without consent".

You can ask for yourself, or for someone you are authorized to act for.

Please include these four things so we can act on your request:

1. Your signature. Typing your full name is enough.
2. Where the image is. A link, or a description we can use to find it, such as the username, the post or comment, and which image.
3. A brief statement that you did not consent to the image being shared (or that the person you act for did not), with any details that help us understand what happened.
4. How to contact you. An email address, and a phone number if you like.

• You get a reference number on screen as soon as you send the form. Keep it, and include it if you contact us about your request. We also email a receipt to the address you gave, but we limit how many receipt emails we send, so keep the number shown on screen.
• We remove it within 48 hours of a valid request. We also look for identical copies on Atlas and remove the ones we find.
• We tell you what happened: that we removed it, that we could not find it, or why we did not remove it. If we need more information, we will email you.

We review it as possible child sexual abuse material, and when it appears to show someone under 18, we report it to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), as federal law requires. You can also report it to NCMEC directly at report.cybertip.org. Our Child Safety Standards explain how we handle it.
